2O1O SCHEDULE

SEPTEMBER 19 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 24, 2O1O

In only its sixth year, Mountain Mille has already become one of our most popular events. And with good reason! The roads are incredible, the Mountain Mille "extended family group" is terrific and the hotels are wonderful.

As usual, we'll have overnights at The Homestead and The Greenbrier, making Mountain Mille the most luxurious old car tour on the planet!

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 19

We’ll assemble Sunday afternoon at The Homestead in Hot Springs, Virginia. This National Historic Landmark has been consistently rated one of the world’s best resorts since it was founded in 1766.

The Homestead offers a world-class spa, mineral springs, three golf courses, tennis, sporting clays, horseback riding and even falconry lessons.

Dinner and overnight accomodations will be at The Homestead.

The Homestead is easily reached from I-64 and I-81. If you’re towing, there’s safe parking for your tow rig during the week. If you’re flying in, we’ll pick you up with a Cayenne at Roanoke International Airport.

Jean has booked rooms at The Homestead for Saturday night, if you’d like to arrive early to enjoy the many amenities. Call her asap.

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 2O

We’ll rally over fabulous mountain roads, stopping at fun spots and, of course, a gourmet lunch.

Our destination is Snowshoe Resort, a mountaintop ski area owned by IntraWest and similar to the charming IntraWest village where we’ve stayed at Mount Tremblant. Dinner and overnight accomodations will be at Snowshoe.

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 21

We’ll spend the day rallying around wonderfully smooth, unbelievably twisty mountain roads in Virginia and West Virginia, made even more scenic by colorful fall foliage.

Our overnight accomodations and dinner will be at The Greenbrier Resort. The Greenbrier is considered the premier American resort, thanks to its classic “Romance and Rhododendrons” interiors by Dorothy Draper, totally updated by her protege Carleton Varney at the behest of a new owner who is completely redoing the whole place.

Add Georgian architecture, an elaborate spa, immaculate grounds, multiple golf courses, gourmet restaurants, a new upscale casino, and, well...you’ve created the ultimate resort.

Like The Homestead, The Greenbrier is a National Historic Landmark and Historic Hotel of America.

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 22

We’ll drive on more spectacular roads in West Virginia, some of the best sports car driving roads to be found anywhere in the world! Dinner and overnight accomodations will again be at The Greenbrier.

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 23

We’ll rally our way through the mountains back to The Homestead. Overnight accomodations and our gala Victory Banquet will be at The Homestead.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 24

Our event ends with a leisurely breakfast at The Homestead.

And the Mountain Mille is over till next year...except for new friends and great memories!

(Schedule subject to added delights.)
