Texas Rough Riders!

You probably know us as those die-hard Yankees who put on the New England 1OOO. But we've lost our hearts to Texas!

For those of you who think Texas is hot, flat and boring, have we got news for you. Texas has spectacular areas of rolling hills, picturesque canyons, rushing rivers, live oak trees, quarterhorses, longhorns, white angora goats, quaint frontier towns unchanged since the 184Os...and of course, more cowboys, cowgirls and country music stars than Austin City Limits.

And the roads! Roads are smoothly-paved, but with twists, turns, elevation changes and river crossings that would turn a Vermont farm road green with envy. Then there're the Texas ranch roads, paved roads open to the public that cross private ranch land where nobody lives. Traffic? Out here, one pickup truck and a dozen steers a week is a traffic jam.

Our rally concept is simple enough. On November 14, 2O1O, drivers and navigators of 5O sports cars will assemble at the Commemorative Air Force Museum in Midland, Texas.

The next four days, we'll rally over a scenic 12OO-mile route through the Big Bend Country of Texas. We'll range from one end of this fascinating area to the other, stopping to visit car collections, museums, and famous towns from Marfa to Terlingua. It's going to be tremendous fun!

We've set up the TEXAS 1OOO for maximum driving pleasure and minimum hassle. We carry your luggage for you and put it in your hotel room, a crew of experienced mechanics from RPM VT follows the group to repair any broken cars, we'll even supply a new Porsche sports car for you to drive if your own car breaks and can't be repaired.

On the Texas 1OOO, you can emphasize the time-speed-distance rally aspect or the driving-briskly-through-beautiful-countryside-with-good-friends aspect or the touring-Texas-with-folks-who-know-all-the-best-spots-to-go aspect. Or a little of each. Whichever way you approach it, you'll have a blast.

Our goal is that you drive off at the end of the week saying, ''Hot damn, that's the most fun I've had in a month of Sundays. I can't wait to come back for the next Texas roundup!''

Like every event we've conducted, TEXAS 1OOO benefits local charities—over $1,OOO,OOO so far. But fun is what the TEXAS 1OOO is really all about. Everything in Texas is bigger and better, and that includes the good times!

Join us West of the Pecos, November 14 through November 19, 2O1O, for a wonderful week you'll never forget!

If you have any questions at all, call us at 8OO-645-6O69.

See you in Texas!
